����The HS 885HD Litronic is based, among other features, on a superstructure with a robust and rigid box design and is fitted with a powerful 670 kW (913 hp) MAN diesel engine and 30 t free fall winches as an standard. Alternatively, a 400 kW (613 hp) Liebherr diesel engine is available. An outstanding feature of the undercarriage is its telescopic device for a compact transportation situation.

����Due to its unique design, all heavy duty hydraulic crawler cranes from Liebherr are ready to be applied under the most severe working conditions. With the use of various attachments, the range of applications is almost unlimited. It includes material handling jobs with clamshell grabs or dragline buckets, demolition application, dynamic soil compaction as well as jobs with slurry wall grab or casing oscillator. The HS 885HD Litronic can be equipped with up to 74 m of main boom and up to 32 m fixed jib.

����Liebherr��s reliable Litronic control system is part of the standard equipment of the HS 885HD Litronic. This electronic system includes all control and monitoring functions of the machine and is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, humidity and vibrations. Automated control systems, e.g. for dynamic soil compaction or an ��Interlock�� control system for dragline application are available as an option. For the dynamic soil compaction the automatic free-fall control system creates a rope tension just before the drop weight hits the ground which reduces rope wear to a minimum. Furthermore, this control system avoids any slacking of the rope on the main winches. The HS 885HD Litronic achieves fast working cycles through an electro-hydraulic continuous proportional control which enables all movements to be carried out simultaneously.

����The HS 885HD Litronic is equipped with a GSM service modem as standard feature which allows direct contact with the service station or the factory. Operating and process data can be transmitted software updates can be uploaded and a remote diagnosis is possible.
